Look, Sheila, I don't have time for this nonsense. My responses keep
getting shorter, and yours keep getting longer. I stand by everything I've
said about PO2 and deco. Check the archives, chief - I was advocating deep
stops before you were. I was advocating getting off N2 before you were. As
for constant PO2 (which you never do, and therefore do not comprehend) and
real-time deco computers, I'll restate what I've always said, which is that
they don't mean much for deco on square profiles, but can mean a lot on
multi-level dives. You only do square profiles, so you wouldn't comprehend
that either.

The bottom line is this, chief: you lied about me, and I called you on it,
and now you're excercising your usual tactic when you get cornered, which is
to blow an enormous amount of smoke and try to clutter the issue.
Unfortunately, this time you lied again when you said:

> Tell us again, you dove to 90 feet for 45 minutes on
> the equivalent of 40% nitrox, decoed your sagging
> little titties off, and then got paralyzed and had
> to be hauled out of the water like a manatee? Or
> was it 40 feet for 90 minutes, or what?

Now, stop panting so hard, wipe the drool off your lips, and listen very
carefully:

The dive you are trying to fault me for was as follows:

- Multi-level bottom time for 100 minutes between 100 and 130 feet.
- Constant PO2 of 1.4, which means the gas ranged from Nitrox-35 to
Nitrox-28 on the bottom.
- At the time I began my ascent, I owed 28 minutes of deco.
- 8 minutes later, I was chased out of the water, blowing off two thirds of
my deco.

Now, you can hoot and hollar all you want about how this was a weenie dive,
and you would do it on air using only a pony bottle, and would blow off all
the deco and go home with nothing more than "sports injuries". That's
fine - you can rant on all you want about that sort of thing. But for
Christ's sake get the basic information right, will you?

The reason I posted all that stuff tot he web instead of hiding behind
"sports injury" tactics is to remind people that 100-130 feet is STILL DEEP,
and dives to such depths should be taken seriously. That was the thing that
I had forgotten, that got me in trouble. Your constant ranting and raving
about "weenie dives" only adds to the problem.

There was a time when you were a worthy adversary in this "game", but now
you're reduced to blowing smoke and creating false straw-men. Is that the
only way you can "win" an argument anymore? Maybe all those "sports
injuries" are catching up with you?
