Joel,

"The differential between air and argon is negligible when breathing air or
enriched air"

If you are breathing trimix, why would you not carry a separate bottle of air
if it has negligible difference with Argon?
Surely the fills would be cheaper.

Argon does not make you warmer it just keeps you from getting cooler. You
must start out warm, if you don't it's a waste. The differential between
air and argon is negligible when breathing air or enriched air. When
breathing helium it does make a difference especially with the high helium
40-70% HE content. On the 35% HE content i rarely notice the difference
between the argon or going off my back gas.
