Subject: Re: Argon in dry suit -- how much warmer?

Argon does not make you warmer it just keeps you from getting cooler. You
must start out warm, if you don't it's a waste. The differential between
air and argon is negligible when breathing air or enriched air. When
breathing helium it does make a difference especially with the high helium
40-70% HE content. On the 35% HE content i rarely notice the difference
between the argon or going off my back gas.
