Fear is a funny thing. It makes some people do *really* stupid things.

Billy, just for the record, I know I speak for others here as well, I would
like to say thanks to you for all the great flames, dissections, and truths
you have posted here over the years. Whenever I see a message with your name
on it, I know its going to be one of three things:

1) Good, solid info.
2) A crucifixion
3) Truth someone doesn't want told.

MHK came out last weekend and did a DIR demo here. Andrew came and did his
Britannic presentation. We had 38 people show up for the demo, which, for
Hood Canal, is a lot. We are going to do another one, with Andrew G in
Seattle, and we are going to promote the hell out of it.

None of the local IANTD cadre bothered to show. They are always bad rapping
DIR, JJ, GI, GUE and such at the beach, to unknowing souls, but no hair on
the ass to come present the "issues" when there is a forum created just for
this reason. All the usual bullshit "GI is mean, people who back up DIR on
the techlist and rec.scuba are ill mannered, etc..." I hear all the behind
the back shit they spew. And, I see, dive with, and unfuck their hose
stuffing victims regularly. One of the locals hates my guts bad enough to
whine to my boss about me and what I post, trying to get me fired. Simply
tells me that what I am doing is *exactly* right, and pointed at *exactly*
the right people.

Pappy used to say "The more you stir it, the more it stinks."

Carry on, the reactions tell me its working. We really do "bother" them.
And, We should. After all, Our "cult" is growing exponentially...soon they
wont be able to dismiss Us and Our Plan with a wave of the hand and the
usual
"That's great if your a cave diver in Florida, but it doesn't work here."

One of those T-shirts is mine.
