Robert, Diving in the Coral Sea is diving in very warm water and the air is very warm. You will be able to dive in a short 3mm wetsuit and not get cold. There is also the problem of putting on a dry suit 4 to 5 times a day and getting very hot before you get into the water. If you decide to take your dry suit I recommend that you take your 3mm wet suit with you as well as you will be using it on the second - third-....... days. cheers frank ----- Original Message ----- From: "Robert Silvers" <rsilvers@ph*.co*> To: <techdiver@aquanaut.com> Sent: Saturday, July 01, 2000 8:47 AM Subject: Use a drysuit while on vacation in Oz? I may go on a 7 day dive in the Coral Sea in August. The water temp will be 72 degrees near the surface. This is purley a vacation dive. I wanted to bring my TLS-350 because if I do four dives in a day I would rather not get back into a cold/wet wetsuit. The only wetsuit I own is a 3mm two piece -- so if I wanted to dive wet I would need to buy a 5mm. I think diving dry is just good for practice but diving wet has its own feeling of pleasure.
