Yeah, You're right, Steve. We used to hang out with the Norfolk Blues (the guys who got hit by lighting up in Annapolis) in my school days. These guys would come over after a game, covered in blood, contusions, concussions and broken fingers and proceed to drink until they could feel no pain. Then they would take their clothes off and do the elephant walk, play human bowling with a beer keg, jump headfirst out of a window into a garbage can filled with water and ram their heads through walls until the wee hours of the morning. I did see 3 occasions when they were hauled directly to the hospital, one for a broken neck, and two for protruding bone fractures.
