Just my luck, as soon as I had sold the last plate, I get overrun by requests for these (23 and counting...). Here's a heads up: After the last run of plates I went ahead and made a bunch of tank bands, which it turns out I cant get rid of. I think I still have over a dozen pairs of bands sitting in my garage. I do plan to make more plates, but as I am out of pocket for the steel it would help if I could sell the bands first. These are 16 gauge, 3 inches wide, type 316L stainless, 3/16" thick spine, all-round welded, sized for 8 inch diameter tanks (LP steels) spaced for a 5/16" bolt --> DIR. $120/pair. If and when the plates get made they will probably be $130. -Sean On Mon, 26 Jun 2000 18:39:26 -0700, Dave Grey wrote: >Sean Stevenson, who is on this list, at one time had a supply of s/s >backplates. He is located in Vancouver,British Columbia. >Later, > > >----- Original Message ----- >From: Paul Buddingh <pbuddingh@ud*.co*> >To: <techdiver@aquanaut.com> >Sent: Monday, June 26, 2000 1:18 PM >Subject: looking for a stainless backplate > > >> Does anyone have one they like to part with?
