Mike,

Place your knife, or a second knife on your right hip and route the hose =
under it. I also have a pocket that I made that has a stiffener in it =
that slips over my buckle and slides back to the right against my =
backplate. This will also hold the hose down. Lacking either of these =
solutions, place SOMETHING on the right side that hangs down so you can =
hook the hose under it (hopefully hang something that provides some =
benefit).

In the absence of a cannister light, how should I attach (for lack of =
a better word) a long hose on my hip? Should I even worry about it?

  Thanks,

  Mike McD
