In researching the aspirin and DCS question I came across a page that
contains good, general information about DCS and its onset and treatment.
Note at the bottom in the "MEDICATION" area that there is a section on
aspirin as a medication for DCS, but it adds several contraindications. One
of these is in use with other anticoagulants:

>When administered concurrently with other anticoagulants, it can have an
>additive hypoprothrombinemic effect and may increase bleeding time.
