Basic Underwater Photography This introductory course to underwater photography covers all the basics of this fascinating speciality of diving. From selecting the right equipment, f-stops, and apertures, to exposure and composition, this class provides the beginning student of photography with the tools necessary to get out and start creating great underwater images. Rebreather Technology Workshop This workshop was recently a huge success at Tek '95, in California, and is being offered here for the first time on the East Coast. This course provides interested students with a complete overview of rebreather technology, from the first rebreathers ever developed, to the latest cutting edge technology of mixed gas, redundant systems. Topics covered in this intense and comprehensive course encompass: historical overview of rebreather concepts, definitions and categories of rebreathers, and how they work, oxygen rebreathers, semi-closed and fully closed systems; specific information of contemporary rebreathers (over 9 discussed); the physiological aspects of rebreathers, including scrubbers, CO2, oxygen and decompression considerations; and full face masks. Rapid Deployment Search and Rescue/Recovery This eight hour indoor workshop is a must for any rescue personnel who want to learn how to set up a dive team, or make their dive team safer and more effective.
