Yes, it is because of the fat in that area, if I am to continue to explore these very deep wrecks I need to get into better shape. Most would say I am in very good shape, but I know it can be better. The cold was a big factor in this dive and we cut our BT to 10 min from 20 min and I did 12 min on the deep dive anyway, we found that the temp was 46 on the bottom of the first dive to the U-140 and 55 on top. The Ostfrisland dive was a few degrees warmer, but time was an over all factor to get back home, we had a great deal of trouble hooking the wreck where I wanted it. As it turned out we were in a good spot and I was able to swim under the hull to see the aft guns of the battleship, I had about an 8 ft gap to swim under and Rick was trying to film me doing this, but the camera would not work at that depth.
