It is with shock and disbelief that I heard from Max´s demise. He has been, for decades, the authority on diving within the german-speaking countries and far beyond. He was abreast of new technologies and an avid diver from the heart. Those you have met him can take pride in having known a person linked tightly to diving history. The global diving community will miss his advice, knowledge and a straighforward personality. My condolences go to his family.
