Here I sit wasting time on techdiver again, but laughing at the DIR stupidity as usual. A couple thoughts: Regarding Deep Tech, why don't you whiners give Curt Bowen a jingle, as it's pretty clear to me that Advanced Diver Magazine is the followup to Deep Tech. But don't waste bandwidth here on techdiver, because you see Curt Bowen is a BEST diver, i.e. conspicuously absent from this list (DIR: Myths & Realities, Myth 4), and wouldn't stoop to your juvenile behavior. Regarding boat diving and which mix to use, it's obvious to me that nobody who responded owns a boat, no surprise. Miranda states the obvious, "use a generic mix," then Cobb states the obvious, "cancel the dive." Little Billy must think space on my boat is unlimited, with a range of choices being the best solution. Do you techno-weenies have a clue how despised you are by some boat captains, with all your gear clanging around? And speaking of clues, Cobb, do you have any idea how many emails I get from lurkers and past whipping boys on techdiver, who just love me standing up to the Doing-It-Rightists, especially you and Trey? Although the signal-to-noise ratio bottoms out often, once in a while there is capture on techdiver, so keep broadcasting, all of you.
