The BSTD web site has recently been updated. News includes the recently discovered wreck Emmy Hasse. This 19th century steamer was found by BSTD last year. A very interesting story was uncovered that will be presented on a TV documentary in the near future. BSTD has also invested in a side scan sonar and an article about the technology has recently been published on the site. We have invested in the side scan sonar to enable us to do surveys of existing wreck sites and also to find new ones. This will benefit both the BSTD and diving groups we are cooperating with world wide. The Baltic sea is unique in the sense that it has brackish water which preserves even wooden wrecks in perfect condition. Over 50.000 wrecks are still to be discovered... Stay tuned for more interesting wreck discoveries. www.bstd.org Best, Ingemar Lundgren BSTD (Baltic sea tech divers) -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'.
