reminds me of the old SOS "bend-o-matic" dive computer with the gas bag, 
substance X filter, and bourdon tube metre.

Also reminds me of the original Kidd-Stubbs pneumatic dive computer with 
serial compartments connected with small orifices to simulate/regulate gas 
diffusion.
