Mr. Black,

Ok, that was funny. I almost fell out of my chair. Can you say "the kettle is
Black"?

You are quite the example for us to aspire to. (not)

o You are telling us that DIR is not good. You have of course not proposed
anything better. (not
like you could)
o You tell us you cave dive, but are not trained.
o You tell us you dive deep on air.
o We know you like to run "hot" mix in your pony.
o You comment on issues you have no clue about.

And then you have the nerve to try and tell us that DIR is no good. DIR has
been proven by a lot
of people with a lot more experience than you. These are people who actually
specialize in diving
in unfriendly environments. You on the other hand have absolutely zero
credibility since you have
basically zero experience in any of these environments.

BTW, having PADI ice diving and PADI wreck diving certs does not make you an
expert in technical
diving!

At least George and the DIR guys lean on the side of safety in what they post
on public forums.
You on the other hand are the perfect example of how not to do things. As
George has pointed out,
you are going to get someone who does not know any better killed because they
think that seeing an
"MD" behind your name means you must know something.

Black you are the laughing stock of the Techdiver List, and I suspect REC.SCUBA
as well.

Give it a rest!

Mat.
