I just have to reply to this one. Did you think you would impress me with pictures of you and your stroke buddy diving in a lake looking at rocks at 5 m or what ever? Try using redundant air supply next time you dive in an over head environment idiot. PADI ice diving protocol with a waist attached line solo diving it seems. I bet you have a PADI ice diving speciality course and you try to pass on advice to me... In fact i bet you have every fucking specialty course out there from oyster collector to knife diver. You are the typical sport diver, loud mouthed, with out clue and even worse in your case, a wannabe tech diver. Keep off this list, you have nothing useful to contribute with. Where have you got the idea that i don't use continuous line to the surface when ice diving? When i dive ice i do it in caves or mines, i place a line with a weight on the bottom and then tie off to that with a reel and then enter the cave. Or if i can i tie off on the surface.
