 David:

I just don't see any good coming of it. Apparently Black's only goal is to to
be right about something and he keeps walking into a buzz saw by picking the
wrong things.

While I do believe there are types of diving where full DIR as I understand it
(which may be flawed) is not the best way to go, but none of those have
anything remotely to do with tech diving. After all, this is a tech diving
list.

I've only been reading here a few months and have picked up quite a bit
already. There are now several pieces of gear that I will never buy and a few
more that will be upgraded when they fail.

There is an event at work on Thursdays that I am trying to get automated. Once
that happens I plan to go see Capt JT and his bunch to get some hands on with
some of this stuff.

The things Black comes up with are so off the mark that I have no trouble
punching holes in them. For the people here who know what the hell they are
doing it must be like shooting skeet while they're still in the box.

I just read what I wrote and I'm obviously tired. A rewrite would be worse, so
I'm leaving it as is.

I'm going to STFU and go back to reading. Thanks to everyone who responded to
me.

You have to understand the nature of this list. The wars between Mike Kane,
Capt JT,
Trey (George), the NE guys, etc. are stable or have evolved into friendships.
Mike has dove w/George several times now in Florida. VB Tech with Capt JT,
David
W., Jim C., Ike B., Rick A., Brad B., and Bill R. out of the Mid-Atlantic (Va
Beach) headed south to dive w/George and DAN and also Mike Kane last March.
Black is the only activie radical element active right now. It is the nature of
the list.
Yes it is a waste of BW, but good info does come out of it. You just have to
read
between the BS.

I blocked his address weeks ago. The only evidence I have that he is
still alive is that people insist on quoting him.
I believe the people here just swat at him for the entertainment value and
don't really want him gone.

It's the email version of "catch and release."

2) TO THE LIST. As a lurker my comments should legitimately carry little
weight but as a student I will just add this before I STFU until I can add
something positive. Way too much bandwidth has been wasted
addressing the whining crap from MJB. I think the best way to address
any posts of his from now on is to ignore them. Or as the Amish
would put it Shun Him. Or as I would put it Ignore the
Ignorant. Even as a court Jester this guy is about as humorous as
cancer. No response equals no stimulus equals no more
childish tirades.
