This is what I read in the Hartford Courant Tues. May 16, 2000.

Associated Press
NARRAGANSETT, RI- A Connecticut scuba diver apparently drowned diving on =
a German submarine off Point Judith.
The Coast Guard received a report about 10:15 a.m. Sunday that Ricardo =
D. McKeithen, 45, was in trouble about 10 miles from shore, Chief =
Warrant Officer Kevin Coyne said.
McKeithen, a West Haven (CT, USA) resident and Bridgeport Fire =
Department lieutenant, was not breathing and had no pulse when he was =
pulled from the water.
A Coast Guard helicopter flew McKeithen to South County Hospital in =
Kingston,(RI) where he was pronounced dead.
The cause of the accident was not known.

As for myself and other northeast wreck divers. Our prayers go out to =
Mrs. McKeithen and to the Captain and crew who preformed CPR.

A.J.
