The Australian Coral Sea beats the GBR, oh, OK, Great Barrier Reef, hands down any day of the week. Biggest is not necessarily best. Moreover the oppressive dive regulations up there are something that at least this diver does not want to know about but those Queensland (Oz State controlling the GBR) regs are not valid in the Coral Sea. But ya gotta _research_ that kinda thing MJB, before spending your money. And yes, PNG is something else again. Yet even there you have your problems, such as malaria.
