Scott, <excerpt>It is ashame that people do not give a shit about nothing but their own agendas. We were there two weeks ago and the trash can were over flowing. Again I question if it was divers, but on closer inspection there were a half dozen condom catheters laying on the ground. Nancy and I spent Sunday morning raking up the place and emptying the trash. There was also a lot of paper on the backside of the building. You are right it is ashame! Maybe, we can start taking the sign in list and try to narrow the people down that are causing the problem? There is enough regulars that dive there that could be trusted to help police and narrow down those that are trouble so we can possibly embarass them publicly and possibly criminally. Greg Hello, Pardon the title, but there is no other way to discuss this issue. At Jackson Blue this Sat, I found evidence that someone had defecated behind the bath house. I realize that the bathrooms are locked and that we have been promised a key on numerous occasions, and that this has not happened; but, what I saw was inexcusable. The problem was bad enough when people were just going behind the dumpsters, but this is worse. WE ALMOST LOST ACCESS TO JB BECAUSE OF THE PILES OF SHIT BEHIND THE DUMPSTER! <underline>My guess is that when the county finds evidence that people are doing this behind the building we will lose access to JB.</underline> Have the human decency to go into the woods that surround the place, dig a hole at least 12" deep, bury all of your damn waste, and preferably do not leave "paper" behind, seal it in a plastic bag and dispose of properly. I have put in four years of effort to open access to JB and to keep it open: I will be beyond pissed if it is lost because someone is too damn lazy to take care of business in the woods. Now that I have been kicked out of the NACD and banned from the CDS, I gain nothing from my efforts to keep JB open for you; if access is lost I (the "agencies" did nothing outside of donating a lock (CDS) to secure access) will not pursue it being opened again. Look around Florida you have lost many cave diving sites with many more teetering on the edge, JB is one of them. Act like an adult, treat the area and the locals with the respect deserved, and you might be allowed to continue diving. If "the community" can not get its act together the only diving that will be done outside of the WKP, is on a keyboard. Once again disgusted, Scott Hunsucker PS for those that do act like an adult, and have offered thanks and assistance, your efforts are appreciated; however, we are outnumbered and need to act/speak accordingly. </excerpt><<<<<<<< -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'.
