Just for the sake of statistics:

The local newspaper reported the loss of a diver yesterday 8/may/2000 at
Ayia Napa area
( Cyprus Island ) and the transportation in a critical situation of his
buddy to the� Decompression
chamber. The 23 year old man was diving at the depth of 50 meters with
his friends ( on air ) when he
suddenly decided to remove some of his gear incl. mask and reg. His
buddy on an attempt to help him
got also in a distress situation and he accent. The body of the first
diver was recovered minutes later.
