Eric - There are many investors in the flathead 6 that are proponents on these list. I recently re-compared them myself, and I feel the DS-4 (or Us-4 in milder climates and fresher water) is a better choice than the flathead six because it does not have unnecessarily angled ports requiring you to either flip the reg inside out (or is that upside down?) or angle them to make the hoses go straight down. Similarly, the t50 has an unnecessary swivel mechanism. The entire model range (ds-4, us-4, t50d and fh6) all seem to be built on a good platform. Mine are totally trouble free and when tuned properly breath just as nice as mk20/g250. A+ in my book. FWIW, I hear zeagle is selling off their last inventory of them cheap.
