Hi Phi, I purchased Decoplanner about two months ago, just before I did a series of (for me) long, 70m cave dives. I noticed the same thing as you i.e. I could begin to predict pretty accurately what would happen to the deco schedule by varying the bottom time and, for the first time, I realised what George means when he has been talking about the "shape" of the deco curve. I had previously been using Zplan and it never seemed to keep a constant shaped deco curve or, more importantly, a deco curve who's behavior I could begin to predict in my head. Just for kicks, I ran George's recent 18k dive through Decoplanner and, clearly, he clearly still has a few tricks up his sleeve.
