Kevin, Last week I rented a light from Akumal Dive Center this is the shop on
the
left as you pass under the arch. It was not a Gavin but a Spectrum 14 but did
work
fine for me.       Al
PS I had a light packed in my suit case as are planing on doing. Opened my
suitcase
and the light was busted, a piece above the latch coming right off. Was a  Sun
Country flight out of Mpls.
