Being an "old timer" myself from being certified to dive back in '73 I feel like I can at least throw in my two cents worth. You have never been in this sport too long to learn something new or change your method of diving. I am a recent convert to DIR attitude and am in the midst of a transition to DIR gear and it makes a huge difference (thanks George). And the thing is that most of it is so simple I find myself asking "why didn't I think of that?". For those who are convinced that they are too old or have been doing it too long to change, I have a one word answer: BULLSHIT. MJB MJB, you and a lot of your profession are responsible for the legalised abuse of medically prescribed depressants i.e. valium,prozac,sleepers etc because you are too stupid and too fucking lazy to listento the ppl and what they`re telling you,you treat the symptoms rather than the cause. btw MJB, the medical profession has the highest % of drug/drink abusers of all, be very careful because someday George might be the guy on the other end of the phone if and when you need help,and George will say " No problem MJB, you`re gonna be ok,I`m listening" So stick to posts you know about and join the "I KNOW FUCK ALL ABOUT ANYTHING" mailing list.
