Subject: Lightwave LED lights
Hi All,

anyone any experience in using Lightwave lights underwater=2E They use =20
white LED's so there is no bulb to blow, they burn for 300hrs+ on one set =20=
=20
of ordinary batteries, 100,000hrs life of the LED and can survive a 3m =20
drop on to rock -- or at least so the manufacturer claims=2E They are also=20=
 =20
said to be totally waterproof=2E

A lot of dry cavers are moving to LED lamps rather than normal filament =20
bulbs, and if the manufacturer's specs are to be believed then they would =20=
=20
seem like an ideal back-up light for diving=2E There is always a downside,=20=
 =20
and I was wondering if anyone had tried them out and could give some =20
feedback=2E

Regards,

S
