We go for accelleration, and that is where the chip thing screws us up - it forces you to shift leaving about 50 hp on the table or it floats and loses power, or to turn off the computer and risk losing it completely. It does have a "competitive driving" mode, but even that kills you if you have to do something funky. I had a car pull out dead in front of from a blind sidestreet while racing a 427 and I just missed his ass and got about 12" behind the other vette and then cut back and got around him ( actually a chick )- spinning the whole way riding the clutch, but with the computer , at that speed, the my car would have used the abs when it felt the sharp swerve and cut the power taking awy my steerage and I would have hit both cars.
