Michael, you've seen my car - even with that suspenion the roads here
are so bad at high speed that it is a nightmare to drive really fast
here. We go for accelleration, and that is where the chip thing screws
us up - it forces you to shift leaving about 50 hp on the table or it
floats and loses power, or to turn off the computer and risk losing it
completely. It does have a "competitive driving" mode, but even that
kills you if you have to do something funky. I had a car pull out dead
in front of from a blind sidestreet while racing a 427 and I just missed
his ass and got about 12" behind the other vette and then cut back and
got around him ( actually a chick )- spinning the whole way riding the
clutch, but with the computer , at that speed, the my car would have
used the abs when it felt the sharp swerve and cut the power taking awy
my steerage and I would have hit both cars.
