If you're at the beach, turn the air off and immerse the second stage in water. Lift in into the air and while holding it, hose up, exhaust down, press purge a couple of times. This should get it going short term. Back at home strip it down. Soak in white vinegar for a while, rinse with hot water, then lightly smear silicon grease on the piston shaft before reassembly. Can't seem to guarentee it because the corrosion is different for every reg. The diver who abuses his gear the worst around here never has the problem! Next time, do a save a dive test on it before leaving home! Steve. > Greg gregr@cs*.su*.oz*.au* > >
