Most of my diving is done off of Virginia Beach, VA, last dive a couple of weeks ago the water temp was 42F/5C. But "normal" temps are usually between 50-65F/10-18C. Funny thing is I currently use a sub-optimal neoprene drysuit but I used the same skin/suit while in Florida that I use up here and was perfectly comfortable. In FL I did not need a hood or thick gloves.
