Hi all, On the subject of water leaks in Jetstream 2nd stages, do many of you get this problem? In the sea, the mist of salt water in my throat makes me gag. I will check the switch O ring, as suggested by John Lydon, but don't think this is the problem, as both valves did it from new. I will also check under the exhaust diaphragm for grit, but I keep the valves meticulously clean. Is it not simply that when exhaling, as air escapes thro the diaphragm, some water leaks in. We all know what happens with a conventional shaped 2nd stage when inverted, you get a mouth full of water. On this basis, leakage will occur with all makes of side exhaust 2nd stage. What about those of you who use other makes of side exhaust 2nd stages, do you get this problem? Bill Dyer Nuneaton SAC (SAA #220) Warwickshire, UK.
