     List,
     My bottom timer seems to think that it is still at 2.7 metres and=20
     so will not shut down!
     I've tried sending it on a dive attached to a line - no joy :-(=20
     I've tried taking it on a subsequent dive - no joy :-(
     My thought was to place ithe timer in a crucible full of water=20
     within a small bell and then to evacuate sufficent air from the=20
     bell to 'con' the timer into surface mode, then to empty the=20
     water from the crucible, finally restoring ambient pressure.=20
     Any thoughts?
