Subject: Uwatec Bottom Timer Problem

     List,
     My bottom timer seems to think that it is still at 2.7 metres and 
     so will not shut down!
     I've tried sending it on a dive attached to a line - no joy :-( 
     I've tried taking it on a subsequent dive - no joy :-(
     My thought was to place ithe timer in a crucible full of water 
     within a small bell and then to evacuate sufficent air from the 
     bell to 'con' the timer into surface mode, then to empty the 
     water from the crucible, finally restoring ambient pressure. 
     Any thoughts?
