Dear DIR divers and all those who aren't,
Yesterday I actually met the epitomy of strokedom. I was going out to
a dive and the dive was cancelled. While sitting at the dock talking to
some friends, this fat, DRUNK, slob pulls up in his vehicle and stumbles out
to greet us. My friends had preiously met him and unfortunately knew him
reletively well. we then proceed to breakfast where the only thing that
comes out of this man's mouth when he opens it is shit! He then asks my
friend and I (both DIR) what our plans for the dive are. We humor him by
explaning. He then begins to spill more shoit out of his mouth. He quickly
recites the entire gospel of strokedom in front of us, our friends
(non-divers) and the also the boat capt and crew who were there as well.
Everything spills out...80/20, what the fuck is a long hose, why are you
taking doubles on a 170' dive, why are you breathing 100% O2....... I
finally had to go to the restroom and shit myself.
My point is...these fuckers are convincing and actually sound like they
know what the hell they are talking about. While I figured out that what
they are talknig about is wrong to begin with and have absolutely no wish to
do it right let alone do it other than THEY want. To George and the rest of
WKPP, GUE and countless others whom I do not know
(unfortunately)....Thank-you!
