Otherwise, if the donating diver is in front and the OOA diver behind gets stuck in the restriction or has to stop for some reason, the donating diver in front may not know this and keep going thus pulling the regulator out if the OOA diver's mouth. Your question is *very* basic, and the answer should be known to anyone with minimal cave training. I assume you're not diving in caves.
