Hi, No I am not diving in caves and have no real plans to. I dive in the UK and do a small amount of wreck penetration. The question was more a theoretical question rather than anything else. Sorry if it seemed so basic but I did not know the answer so thought I would ask Gavin -----Original Message----- From: Mike Rodriguez [SMTP:mikey@ma*.co*] Sent: Wednesday, February 23, 2000 8:19 AM To: gbashford@in*.co* Cc: techdiver@aquanaut.com Subject: Re: long hose question At 02:30 AM 2/23/00 -0800, gbashford@in*.co* wrote: Hello Gavin, >I have a question about donating the long hose. Otherwise, if the donating diver is in front and the OOA diver behind gets stuck in the restriction or has to stop for some reason, the donating diver in front may not know this and keep going thus pulling the regulator out if the OOA diver's mouth. Your question is *very* basic, and the answer should be known to anyone with minimal cave training. I assume you're not diving in caves. If you are, I suggest you get training before continuing. -Mike Rodriguez <mikey@ma*.co*> Pn(x) = (1/(2^n)n!)[d/dx]^n(x^2 - 1)^n -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'.
