Scott, if you're looking for closed-cirecuit rebreather training, Hal Watts seemed pretty eager to provide it. I believe I heard him say he has run several classes on 2 or 3 different rebreathers. Also, Jack Kellon (VP of engineering at BMD) said that they were running training for their semi-closed in Canada, and were getting started with training through IANTD. The folks in the pool for the BMD "experience", including Billy Deans, apparently represented this IANTD training. It seems that rebreathers and training are available if you know where to look, but they aren't widespread (yet) by a long shot... > Date: Sat, 28 Jan 1995 19:47:31 -0800 > To: cherf@ci*.co* (Scott Cherf) > From: rodfarb@ce*.co* (Rod Farb) > Subject: Re: New to list: interested in rebreathers > Cc: techdiver@opal.com > > Opinion 1 is wrong.
