I will be buying a reel or spool soon, to be used in the beginning for
sending up a liftbag (no overhead yet). I have heard that many people
prefer a spool, but have been told that they are difficult to use with a
liftbag while wearing dry gloves (I dive in Sweden) and that I should get a
reel instead. I heard that the EE reel intended for cold water is still
difficult to use whith thick gloves and have been recomended an Aqua
Explorer reel, the Dive Rite apparently being made of plastic and therefore
fragile. What are peoples thoughts on this subject?
