Mr. Hunsucker, Don't have a knipshin, but there really is a credibility problem with your data. And given the checkered past and present of your rogue's gallery of divers, there very likely will always be a credibility problem. You and your team are looking for respect, and guess what Adolph, you ain't gonna get it. You say the world of diving medicine isn't ready for you and your team, when in truth the world of diving medicine would welcome your accomplish- ments if only they looked even half-way credible. You say "the WKPP has amassed an amazing safety record, all the while doing dives that no one else in the world does." So are we supposed to believe this too, just like we're supposed to believe that oxygen exposures up to 20,000 percent are safe? You are going to have to do a much better job of convincing the majority of disbelievers if you expect to get any kind of respect from the professional agencies you are so quick to chastise, and that very well might start with losing the militant, maverick attitude you so fondly cherish and display. I remain optimistic that you have much to contribute to dive safety, but until you start presenting data in a thoughtful, unobtrusive, and credible manner, your contributions will remain confined to the small group of elitists you think you are. Good luck with your continued research, I suspect you're going to need it. Mike Black __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Talk to your friends online with Yahoo!
