Huh? > I do not have the patience ot wade > through one of your epistles, Kinda like the folks who bash Darwin, but who have never even bothered to read Darwin. Besides, it's the intellect you lack; not the patience. If you really had no patience, then you wouldn't spend as much time writing email posts as you presently do. Nevertheless, I'll try to use small words and short sentences this time so you can keep with the program. > but if you are still telling people to go > deep to reco, you are dead wrong. When did I tell anyone that? But, since you brought it up, Chief, let me ask you: suppose you get to your "habi-trough" at 30 feet and you're sitting there breathing O2 and everything is hunky-dory....and then all of a sudden your left side goes limp & numb (if you think it can't happen, then you're more naive than you let on). Do you: a) Ascend to the surface and await transport to the chamber? b) Grab your helium "O2-break" gas and drop down 30 feet or so to try to relieve symptoms? c) Sit in the trough and hope it goes away, 'cause to do "deep reco" would be "dead wrong"? d) Prentend the symptoms don't matter 'cause they're just "sports injuries". The clock is ticking, Chief. What do you do? Oops! You waited too long - now your right side is numb and limp also....think fast, now.... > Decomprssion is far more physiology > than theory, Actually, I would say that it is far more mystery than understanding. And your efforts to pretend that you "know" the answers do a great disservice to those unfortunate souls not experienced enough yet to ignore the blubbering babbel. Ooops, those words got a little big there - did I lose ya? > pals represent some of the finest > specimens of diving jello and endomorphism I have ever seen, so maybe Which pals are those? Other than Joey, which of them have you "seen"? Is Joey among the "finest specimens of diving jello and endomorphism? Should he take that as an insult, or a compliment? Considering the source, I would assume the latter. Aloha, Rich -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'.
