Hi Trey,

 >Steve, if you can take anything I have ever said about diving and show
 >me where I am wrong, I will stand corrected, but you can not do it.

There'a single factor running through every single reply countering my
comments and that is you all seem to think I have or am criticising your
diving. Every single one of you have your bull-heads firmly in place and
have totally refused to read what I've written.

Show me where I've criticised *anybody's* diving?

Your diving may or may not be describable as a significant technical
achievement, it matters not one jot to me to be perfectly honest. Its not
about individuals.

Its your [collective] social skills that, if I may be so bold, I am
criticising. They're non-existent. Your occasional macho posturing, touting
your personal so called technical achievements, doesn't give you the right
to totally denigrate the opinions of those people [on this list] who even
so much as misunderstand one of your sermons.

The painful thing is that you're apparently too bigoted to realise the
irreparable damage you're doing to what you cherish most; your public
persona and the DIR approach to diving.

I recently posted a comment that DIR as a system is dead in the water;
it'll be a slow lingering death, but its inevitable.

Its those who've done do much to develop the system that have also
relegated it to a minority interest because of the bellicose posturing.

The stock reply, when the belligerence is criticised is to say "We've tried
'nice' " . Look back two years, three years, to the approach that was
taken then... the same anger and vehemence. Now take a look to see what's
changed, who's taking notice? No-one, absolutely no-one... at least not
outside those enquiring individuals who brave the wrath of the jingoism in
this list.

 >The fact is I have documented my stuff in coutless articles and videos,
 >what have you dcne lately?

Oh, please do you really think this pompous posturing cuts any ice?

I don't know you from Adam, don't give a jot about your previous articles
and videos... the only thing I will do is listen if there's something worth
listening to... the only "publication's" of yours I have access to are
those in this list and, despite the achievements you allude to in life,
your signal to noise ratio in here is very very low... Ask yourself this
question, if your videos and articles were as full of the invective you
frequently use on this list would they have been anywhere near as
successful?? A resounding "NO" would be the only answer you could give.

 >How is that for "invective" - are you "bullied" now? Can you go ahead
 >and unsubscribe in peace?

:) Certainly not, I'm actually grateful that you've seemingly taken a
little time to reply (and I'm not being sarcastic here).
