okay, idiot boy... i will type this reeaaaalllllly slowly since
it would appear that you cannot read too fast...

dir as applied to driving and autos, in a simple little
perspective for you...

we wear seat belts when we drive... seat belts have proven time
and again to save lives, regardless of the occasional story by
folk who claim that NOT wearing a seatbelt saved their life...
seat belts are for me non-negotiable

we do not pass on the inside shoulder when driving... people do
not expect it and are not looking for it and may hit if you pass
on that side, when they turn, because that is not the place that
they look for cars when they go to turn... and they turn only
from the right most lane (granted you do it differently in the
UK but the same rules apply, albeit to a diff side of the road)
- passing on the outside lane only is non-negotiable

we do not get shitfaced drunk and drive - shitfaced drunk
drivers have proven time and again to be unable to react or
notice that something present requires reaction - never driving
drunk is non-negotiable

without my glasses or contacts i cannot see safely enough to
drive - and my license states that i must be wearing glasses
when i drive - driving with my glasses on is non-negotiable

now, if none of these statements of fact. inflexibly posed,
position me as a narrow minded, loud-mouthed bigot then so be it
- i am absolutely right in these statements and NO one can
convince me, or lots and lots of others, that said position
should be altered IN ANY DAMNED WAY.

yep, simple examples... like my car burns gas, not diesel so i
put gas in it, not diesel.... my car needs oil and water so i
make sure it has enough of both at all times, particularly when
i go cruising thru the desert to a dive site.....

confused? if so then check out this link for ideas regarding how
close you actually should get to the ocean
