Subject: where to buy manifold?
To: techdiver@aquanaut.com
Hi,

I need to get a manifold for my tanks so I can start
diving doubles. Everytime I go into a dive shop
around here (New England) and ask for anything you
guys are talking about I get something along the lines
of "don't listen to the cave nazi's... this is what
you need". (as well as - "just train in Mexico" and
"no-one uses back plates anymore")

Assume I don't have a PhD in dive equipment... this is
from Trey's equipment list. Does anyone know where I
can buy this stuff on line or mail order it from?
What are disks, plugs, shims, etc.? What's the
correct size insolator piece? If it matters I'll be
using this with Luxfer Al80's in the ocean for a while
until I buy steel 104's.

Thanks for the help,

-ben

From Trey's equipment list:
-MANIFOLD - 300 BAR DIN SEA ELITE OR EXACT REPLICA
WITH THE CORRECT SIZE
CENTER INSOLATOR PIECE. REPLACE DISKS WITH PLUGS OR
1/16 SHIMS. SOFT
PLASTIC OR RUBBER KNOBS WITH SOLID METAL INSERTS,
SCREWS LEFT LOSE SO
THEY CAN ROCK, CENTER PIECE LEFT LOSE SO IT CAN SPIN.
