Mr. Orrell,

The below is my second reply to "mechie" sent to
him and list around 7:30 EDST Monday morning
after he finally got around to asking a question
and diminished his preposterous foray somewhat.
It got bounced twice yesterday so you and the
list didn't get to see it and "mechie" obvisously
has not got the balls to reply back to list or me
regarding it.

Maybe you do if it gets bounced a third time.

I previously wrote:

mechie,

In case you mother did not train you properly
either, you reap what you sow Bubba!

You are the one who showed up with a
condescending arrogant attitude making moronic
statements and conclusions without sufficient
basis or foundations. You did not ask an
intelligent and thought out question. When you
present your ignorance in this manner, expect to
receive a prompt and proper English spanking.

You further demonstrate your complete lack of
understanding by assuming I am somehow aligned
with others organizationally on the list. For
your future information, I am not a member of the
club but totally agree with them in DIR
philosophy, equipment considerations, procedures
and attitudes.

Not because I am a mind numb nut robot or parrot,
but because I was privileged enough to live in
the North Florida area and watch the evolution of
their principles since the 1960's. Part of this
evolution process was seeing numerous deaths,
which were analyzed and evaluated to develop the
[DIR] concept further so a similar event would
have less chances of reoccurring again. The
result has come at a very high price of lost
lives over the years.

You would be well advised to take a seat and
listen if you do not wish to become a part of
that investment.

George Irvine is only the current successor of a
very long hierarchy of leadership who all earned
the position the same way he did, from the bottom
up through experience gained from making real
dives! He has and will continue to do an
extraordinary job. I might add that this is not
"Suck Up" as some may think because he has never
met me nor likely will.

Regarding your question about the Poseidon Death
Regulators, you can find detailed information in
Kevin's excellent new archive
http://www.nwls.com/list-archive/ where it was
covered very well over the past month.

When you are finished reading, come back and ask
questions in an intelligent attitude without a
"know it all posture" and you will most likely
receive a similarly toned answer.

I have been at this awhile but even I have
learned from reading this list. There are some
extremely knowledgeable and experienced
individuals on this list with a wealth of
information to share if one will just sit and
listen.

Sincerely,

William Gearman
