You know there comes a point in everyone's life when you have stand up and 
be counted and I, for one, feel that moment is upon me... get your keyboard 
ready because I just know you'll not be able to hold back from replying... 
and I'm not going to put my flame-proof suit on either, I've nothing to 
fear from you. Nothing at all.

I read "Mechie's" post and, to be honest, agreed with the sentiment therein 
and I don't blame him for seeking anonymity when he posted. There are some 
who can see that their reasonable comment will attract insult and therefore 
they seek to minimise the personal hurt.

I read your post and see nothing but puerile,  patronising, condescending 
vitriol; in short the tools of the fascist.

You and your ilk have the dubious honour of having made yourselves a 
laughing stock the world over and I really do mean the world over.

What do I mean?

You and your buddies have placed yourselves in the unenviable position of 
being ridiculed the world over for your arrogant, narcissistic pouting 
whilst you strive ardently to denigrate the opinions of those who refuse to 
wear blinkers and those who you can't beat into submission.

....and while I'm at it that includes you, Trey, you're nothing but a 
school-yard bully; my name is as given in the header and my e-mail address 
is correct so if you want to try and bully me then you know where I am.

This list is recognised, by those who want to learn, want to take in the 
knowledge of others, as a source of the best information around.

But its ruined by the ranting of the clones, of the sheep who bleat 
doctrine instead of reasoned debate. Ruined by those who revel in their own 
arrogance and are so taken in by their delusions of grandeur that they feel 
at liberty to pour scorn, insult and ridicule on all who refuse to kowtow 
to your doctrine... fascism at its worst. I chose my words particularly, 
nothing can dissuade me from my view that you and your brethren are fascist 
at heart.

The ratio of information and insight to that of screams from a vented 
spleen is something like 1 post in every 150... look through the archives 
if you don't believe me.

And you know what, you and your kind will be proud of that. In all 
probability you'll reply with all the venom you can muster to my criticisms 
of you, or if you don't than another one of your cronies will... water off 
a duck's back mate, bleat away.

So eloquently put, learn that level of debate in fourth grade did we?

My only apology, to you directly, William is that this post is personal... 
I would much prefer to have been able to use the word "you" in the group 
sense to describe all of you imbeciles who do not appreciate the degree to 
which you prevent useful debate and the dissemination of information. My 
apology is genuine, it just happens that your post, for me, finally 
provided the impetus for me to voice my opinions about the whole bunch of 
you. arrogant spoilt brats, the lot of you.

Any chance of a return to debate and the dissemination of ideas and insight?

Probably not, I'll be unsubscribing very soon because this list has nothing 
worthwhile to offer, I've got better things to do with my time than toil 
through the myriad postings of venom and spite in the hope of a brief 
snippet of useful information. But I'll not unsubscribe until I've fielded 
the full range of outpourings of malice and insult that can be mustered 
against me. I know I'll not be disappointed.
