Subject: Re: In water recompression. (FWD) (FWD)

Edward,

I tried to start a thread on this a while ago, but didn't get as much info
as I would have liked to from the WKPP guys probably cause there were the
weiners whining about IWR.

anyway, you remember the Sample Deco Dive thread with a dive to 225 for 20
I think? Well, if you remember, the deco ended with a slow ascent from
20feet. Some consider that to be one of the most crucial part of the
deco. If you rush this, it's good to get back down to 30 or 40' and redo
your scheduled stops. The faster you get back down the better - less
bubbles will have a chance to form, and you WILL bubble if you rush the
last 20'.

3 more cases:
1)Ommitted deco - surface asymptomatic
You have no need to do anything

2)Ommitted deco - take a hit
***this is the answer that I didn't like. Hopefully we can find out a bit
more about this. The answer I got was to go deep enough to shrink the
bubble, then do some deco and surface. Thats probably good enough for the
WKPP guys who understand deco. But I don't. I have no idea how deep to
go, or how long to stay.

3)completed deco - take a hit
This probably means you have a shunt. I think you should do the same as
in the second case, but I'm not sure.

Hope this starts some good discussions
steve
