I too must commend MHK and Troy on this effort, I further point out the participation of George, JJ, Ted and Dan for keeping everyone well interested for over two hours on the rear deck of the GE the night before the Farnsworth Trip. They were first rate and totally informative. There was added benefit in meeting those on various lists face to face for the first time, such as Matthew and Steven et el. Conversly, I too feel a bit saddned that Dale Sheckler from The California Diving News didn't show up. MHK and I both counted 55 persons on the rear deck of the GE. That's 55 more people who now know what DIR is about and 55 more who have seen the Halcyon products first hand... and a few who even got to experience the product line in the water. This was an information event for the Southern California diver. There is no question from the feedback I have received that the experience was a positive one from both sides. I also feel very sad that I was not able to attend the Farnsworth Trip as I had originally planned. Those of you whom I talked to that night before understood I was having back problems from performing other that diving activities. Doc says I have two strained muscles in my back and I have to stay out of the water for two more weeks. That's no problem since the GE is going in for CG hull inspection and maintenance for the next two weeks. I am sure I speak for Captain Tim when I say it was a pleasure to have all on board for the education session the evening before, and the cool day of diving experienced by all at Farnsworth the following day. Again, thanks to MHK and Tory the Hog-boy for making this happen. And special thanks to Trey, Dan.,Ted and JJ for putting up with Chris' stoooopid questions ;-). It was also too bad that Carl couldn't make it. --T.May-- (818) 823-5000 x3515 24/7 LA Sat Tech Divers/McKibben Comm/Progressive Diving Institute/SCDC http://www.mckibben.com & http://www.progressivediving.com = work http://pw2.netcom.com/~tleemay/index.html & http://pw2.netcom.com/~tleemay/ = play -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'.
