Subject: Another DIN question
Hi all,

I'm looking at changing over from yoke to DIN and was seeking some advice.
I dive a single tank rec setup (Halcyon pioneer 27 wing with single tank
adapter) and am looking for appropriate brands of valve available in
Australia, to use with a Scubapro MK10 first stage.

Valves I've looked at so far have the knobs on the back of the valve, which
I guess would make them easier to reach but I'd imagine this would be more
of an entanglement risk than having the knob in the normal position (side).
Any comments? Also I'm aware there are two lengths of thread for DIN, any
issues to be aware of there? Are there different thread lengths available
in the DIN kits from Scubapro for the MK10? Any compatibility problems
with some brands of valve?

No-one locally had experience with DIN, any help appreciated.

Cheers,

Simon
