I think it's prudent to point out that equipment alone doesn't make a DIR diver. This will be obvious to anyone with a track record. However, wannabes may give DIR a bad name as more divers adopt WKPP gear configs and think that's all it takes. Rather than inventing more names, how about placing as much emphasis on rigorous training as we do on selecting the best tools?
