I had no idea you had *just* dove with someone, if that's the case, and
he/she is pissed because of what *I* said, he/she should take it up with me.
You aren't responsible for my words. And, if he/she has reason to feel
insecure, perhaps I gave a wake up call.

I have had this conversation with you in the past, several times, so I
thought this is what you were referring to.

It certainly *was not* pointed at anyone in particular! I have had the
experience myself. Diver buys all the good stuff, but doesn't know how to
dive. Gear wont help, if you don't have the fundamentals firmly planted in
your gray matter.

I am genuinely sorry if your new friend thought I was referring directly to
him/her, I honestly had no intention of doing anything other than building
on your thread. It is a thread worth exploring. Perhaps we can all learn a
little, and learn how to deal with the "cheesedick" syndrome.
